Undergraduate geography degrees at Bristol

We offer a choice of three high quality undergraduate degree courses in Geography to suit the different needs and interests of our students:
- Geography MSci 4 yr FT
- Geography BSc 3 yr FT
- Geography with Study in Continental Europe BSc 4 yr FT
We present both a balanced overview of the contemporary study of human and physical geography and also a wide spectrum of research-led teaching, with an emphasis on scientific and analytical content. After a common Year 1 course, students choose between three syllabuses: Environment and Society, Environmental Processes or Space and Society. This path is then followed beyond Year 1 to graduation. We provide well considered combinations of units that give a synergistic learning experience.
A high proportion of our graduates go on to research degrees and employment that rely on the geographical skills acquired during the programmes.
