The impact of our research

PFRC is based in the School of Geographical Sciences; the only UK geography department to be top rated in every Research Assessment Exercise and the 2014 Research Excellence Framework. In the 2014 REF PFRC’s portfolio of research provided two of the six impact case studies submitted by the School.

The following impact stories highlight both the range and depth of research undertaken at PFRC and the impact the centre's research has had on a local, national and international level.
