Management of the School Office
- Responsible for the operational management and strategic long-term staffing of the School Education Team.
- To manage the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate administrative services underpinning educational activities in the School.
Extenuating Circumstances
- Oversee the School’s extenuating circumstances procedure within the School, dealing with sensitive, personal issues of a highly confidential nature.
Examinations
- Oversee examinations and related processes for the School including liaising with external examiners and timetabling of exams for students with alternative arrangements.
Teaching programme quality assurance
- Oversee all proposals to changes in the teaching programme in liaison with the Faculty and Education Support Unit.
University Level
- Deputises for the School Manager when required in School and University issues and events.
AUA (Association of University Administrators)
- The joint contact for the University as Branch Coordinator, acting as a conduit between local members and the AUA’s National Office in Manchester.
