Timing of Classes: lectures and classes are scheduled to last 50 minutes and begin at 9.00, 10.00, 11.10, 12.10, 2.00, 3.00 and 4.10. Prompt arrival is part of your time-management and a matter of courtesy - late arrival disrupts the class or lecture!

Constructing your weekly timetable: you do this yourself (there is a timetable schedule on the ground floor notice board). Where you have a choice of class times, make sure you do not choose a time you should be somewhere else, in this or another department, bearing in mind your commitments throughout the year, not just in the first Teaching Block. If you find that you are to be in two classes at the same time and cannot solve the problem yourself, inform the School office sml-office@bris.ac.uk. Tel 0117 331 8011.
