Whether it is part of your Bristol degree course or during the summer, studying abroad is an incredibly rewarding experience. This is your chance to explore the opportunities available to you, and speak to Bristol students who have returned from their time abroad.
As well as options for taking a year or semester abroad, you can apply for exciting short-term summer programmes including the Bristol International Leadership Programme and GO China. You can also find out more about summer schools at our partner universities abroad.
Overseas work experience is a great way to boost your job prospects and demonstrate to future employers your international awareness and cross-cultural skills.
You will get the chance to speak to the Careers Service for guidance on finding an internship overseas, and you can meet with several leading international internship providers including CRCC and the Intern Group.
Do you want to gain an international experience while giving back to local communities abroad? You'll be able to speak to specialist volunteer organisations including Think Pacific, Red Tree Study and SLV Global, as well as Bristol SU student groups running their own volunteering projects abroad.
Find out more about University of Bristol scholarship schemes that can help fund short-term international activities - whether you organise your trip independently or through a University-run programme.
