Global opportunities Fair

Interested in studying, working or volunteering abroad?

The Global Opportunities Fair is the perfect way to find out more about the options open to you.

Date: Tuesday 17 October
Time: 12 noon to 3 pm
Location: Anson Rooms, Richmond Building.

If you are considering applying for study abroad coming to the Global Opportunities Fair is a must.

You can meet fellow Bristol students who have returned from their own year abroad and can tell you all about their experiences, pick up brochures from Bristol’s international partner universities, attend focus sessions on studying in specific regions, and meet key teams who have a role in your international placement.

The focus sessions running at the fair are:

12.30 - Studying in Europe in English

1.15 - Study Abroad in East Asia

2.00 - Study in Europe: academic differences

An overseas work placement is a great way to boost your job prospects and demonstrate to future employers your international awareness and cross-cultural skills.

At this year’s fair, we will be joined by several leading international internship providers, including CRCC Asia, Capital Placement, BUNAC and The Intern Group.

The University of Bristol Careers Service will also be running two talks on overseas work and placements:

1.00 - Finding Opportunities Abroad

2.00 - Why bother? The benefits of working abroad
