Is a Health Science career for you?
Join us for the day on campus and experience what life is really like as a Health Science student here at the University of Bristol. As well as a chance to meet and chat to our undergraduate Medics, Dentists and Vets, you will experience a range of academic lectures, seminars and clinical skills practicals led by our professional teaching and clinical staff. This is also a fantastic opportunity to meet our students and find out about "student life" and meet our staff to discover more about Health Science careers. We offer admissions advice and tips on how to find work experience.
These events are free to students, but with just 30 places per day, it's best to sign up early. Places will be prioritised and allocated based on a number of different Widening Participation criteria such as attending an Aspiring State Schools or students with no parental experience of HE. It is the students' responsibility to arrange their own travel but lunch and refreshments will be provided.
"A taste of medicine"

Take part in a range of clinical and academic activities run by our leading health professionals and teaching staff. Experience both teaching and hospital environments.
The day is split into 2, with the morning sessions covering topics such as; student life at the University, the medical curriculum, how to gain work experience and applying to medicine. You will also have the opporutnity to attend an academic taster lecture or seminar. The afternoon session is all about clinical skills, based in the world-class Bristol patient simulation centre you will experience a range of medical scenarios, and learn from our clinical staff what it really takes to persue a medical science career.
