SLAS Conference Friday Evening Debate, with Chris Bryant MP (Minister for Europe and Latin America), Samuel Moncada (Venezuelan Ambassador to the UK), and Luis Juste (Santander Universities).

The panels will take place in the Woodland zone; the Plenary lecture in the Tyndall zone; and the Saturday evening event in the Wills zone.  All of these venues are within easy reach of each other, and within walking distance of the hotels listed in the Accommodation section.  Maps of the precinct and neighbouring areas will be handed out on arrival.

Professor Steve Stern will be giving the Plenary lecture "The Paradoxes of Truth: Reckoning with Pinochet and the Memory Question in Chile and World Culture, 1989-2006" at the conference on Saturday 10 April 2010.
