Ludivine Broch gains fellowship at E.U.I.

Dr Ludivine Broch, who is currently a Teaching Fellow in the Department, has just accepted the Max Weber Fellowship at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. She will be starting there in September 2012, and will stay there for 12 months working alongside top international scholars in 20th century studies. Ludivine, who specialises in the social history of Vichy France, will use the time to finish her book on French railway workers in the Holocaust, and to start working on a new project, 'Jews, Blacks and Vichy France: Race in the Age of Antisemitism'.
