Bristol Pride 2017

‌Bristol Pride is important to both the University and the City. It's an opportunity for everyone to be their true selves and celebrate the amazing diversity within the University community in a welcoming and supportive environment'.

Robert Kerse, Chief Financial Officer

Bristol Pride 2017 is fast approaching! The University, the LGBT+ Staff and Student Networks and Bristol SU are again working together to support activities taking place across Bristol from 30 June - 9 July. All staff and students are welcome to join in to display a positive stance to embrace and celebrate the LGBT+ community in our city and throughout the world.

Pride Parade - Saturday 8 July
After the success of our first Pride Parade in 2016 we hope to have an even bigger and louder presence this year. We will gather from 10am in Castle Park next to St Peter's Church, and depart at 11am. There will be Pride themed t-shirts available on a first-come-first-served basis and we encourage you to get into the spirit of things by dressing in rainbow colours, the brighter the better. Community Area - Saturday 8 July
The LGBT+ Staff and Student Networks will also be hosting a stall in the Community Area which is the buzzing heart of Bristol Pride Day and is a chance for people to interact and ask questions. If you would like to help staff the stall on the day please contact Basu from the LGBT+ Staff Network
