Salary scales for trainee and apprentice staff

Apprenticeship Salary Structure – 1 April 2018

The University of Bristol undertook a review of apprenticeship arrangements against the local market in 2016. In the past the University has aligned starting pay to the qualifications earned before the Apprentice starts at the University, the market position is that rates are aligned to the qualification being undertaken at an organisation. From August 2016 we choose to change the structure to reflect the market position.

The steps were revalorised in April 2017 and again in April 2018.
