Accommodation

No. 1 University WalkThe IAS can offer comfortable and convenient accommodation in No 1 University Walk. The accommodation is located in the middle of the University precinct and a few minutes walk from Royal Fort House and most departmental buildings.

Please note that we are currently unable to provide accommodation for periods of less than one month.
We can furthermore not accept bookings for the months of August and September due to refurbishment work being planned for that period.
Accommodation is available for letting to Benjamin Meaker Visiting Professors (BMVPs) to the University, though requests from other academic visitors to the University may be considered.

Rental includes internet, heating, lighting, towels, linen and cleaning. The wired and wireless internet service is provided through the University's ResNet, and a username and password is required to access this. For medium-term IAS BMVPs, usernames and passwords are arranged through the IAS; for other visitors (including short term BMVPs), these must be arranged through their Bristol host department. There are no parking spaces attached to this accommodation.
