IAS/WUN Development Manager - Susan Jim

Susan read Chemistry at the University of Bristol and spent a year abroad at the University of Bordeaux, France. She stayed at Bristol for her postgraduate studies and obtained a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, funded by the Wellcome Trust under their Bioarchaeology Studentship Awards scheme at Bristol's Organic Geochemistry Unit (OGU). Susan then went on to hold a Wellcome Trust Bioarchaeology Fellowship at the OGU.

Susan joined the IAS in October 2005 as a Research Development Manager and since May 2011 has taken up a dual role as IAS/WUN Development Manager. Her role now also involves the development and management of Bristol's participation in the Worldwide Universities Network, a global partnership of 17 research-led universities committed to working together to support research and education in areas of global significance. More on Bristol's involvement in WUN can be found at the Bristol WUN website.

Susan still consults on compound specific stable isotope analysis in her spare time.
