The infection and immunity theme collected information on mouse strains used locally for research.
We will then act as a clearing house for requests for further information.
Genetically modified mouse strains.
The aim of the Immunity & Infection Research Tissue Bank (IIRTB) is to increase our understanding of the immune system, the immune response to infection and vaccination, and the nature of the interactions occurring between host and pathogen.
The IIRTB holds a variety of samples collected for I&I research purposes, including blood, serum, saliva, nose/throat swabs, and some more unusual types (CRF, pleural fluid etc). To deposit and/or withdraw samples an application is submitted to the IIRTB Management Committee.
