Candidates with either the Baccalauria / Baccalaureate Certificate or the Vocational / Technical Baccalauria with good grades may apply for the first year undergraduate study if they have also successfully completed an approved Foundation Programme.

The standard requirement for entry to a taught masters programme at Bristol is an undergraduate (Bachelor) degree that is equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class degree (also known as a 2:1).
Candidates who have studied in Afghanistan should hold a Master's Degree with good grades. Those with a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree from Kabul University may also be considered if evidence of very high grades and/or suitable work experience or further study can be shown.
