Applicants with the Diploma za Sredno Obrazovanie (Diploma of Completed Secondary Education) and who have an average of 5.2 or higher can be considered for first year entry to our Bachelor degree programmes, though there are some specific subject requirements of 6.
Applicants with the Diploma za Sredno - Spetzialno Obrazovanie (Diploma of Completed Secondary Education) and who have an average of 5.2 or higher will usually only be considered for admission to our Bachelor degree courses if they have also taken (or are taking) a Foundation Programme or other additional qualifications such as SAT Reasoning and Subject Tests.

Please note that competition for places at Bristol is very strong, so the achievement of the qualifications listed above does not guarantee that an offer will be made. We aim to get you a response as quickly as possible to help you plan your studies.
If you apply for Computer Science, or any of its joint honours programmes, at undergraduate level at Bristol, you will be considered for a place if you have achieved (or are predicted to achieve) a minimum of 5.5 overall with a minimum of 6 in Mathematics in the Bulgarian Diploma. Please note however, that achieving these grades does not automatically guarantee an offer of a place.

The standard requirement for entry to a taught masters programme at Bristol is an undergraduate (Bachelor) degree that is equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class degree (also known as a 2:1).
Applicants who hold, or are in their final year of, a Bachelor degree that started after 2001 will be considered for admission to a Masters degree.
Applicants who hold, or are in their final year of, a Master's degree that started after 2001 will be considered for admission to a PhD.
