All applications must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). The UCAS code name and number for this University is BRISL B78.
Candidates who have completed the Eritrean Secondary Education Certificate Examination (ESECE), the Eritrean Secondary Education Certificate Examination (technical courses) or the Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate (prior to independence) with good grades will also need to complete an approved Foundation Programme in order to be considered for entry to the first year of our Bachelor degree courses.
Candidates who have gained a Bachelor degree from the University of Asmara with good grades will be considered for entry to the first year of relevant Bachelor degree courses.

The standard requirement for entry to a taught masters programme at Bristol is an undergraduate (Bachelor) degree that is equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class degree (also known as a 2:1).
The Bachelor degree from the University of Asmara, even with good grades, is unfortunately not sufficient for entry to postgraduate programmes at Bristol.
