The University welcomes international students and is proud to count many key leaders in their field among its international alumni. Our commitment to ensure that Bristol is a thriving international student community continues and we seek out those individuals with the highest potential to achieve across the globe.
As you may be aware from the national media, the UK Government is proposing that from October 2012, full-time undergraduates from the United Kingdom or countries within the European Union will pay increased tuition fees which are likely to be between £6000 to £9000 each year for their degrees.
Recently there has been some concern voiced over the potential impact of these changes on international fees. We are keen to emphasise that the proposed changes relate only to a shift in the way in which the UK government subsidises UK/EU fees. They do not and will not affect our approach to the international fee structure and certainly do not dampen our enthusiasm for having international students as part of our community.
We will continue to welcome as many international students as we can that are able to benefit from a Bristol education.
The University’s international tuition fees for 2011 can be viewed online at: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/academicregistry/fees/fees11.html
Our fees for 2012 will be published shortly, once we have completed our normal modelling processes.
