At the end of my first year I can say that it has certainly lived up to my expectations. It is an awesome place for higher education.

Joel Lambert

Joel Lambert, Dominica (M.B.Ch.B Medicine)

I would highly recommend Bristol not only to fellow Dominicans but also to Caribbean applicants as a whole as life in Bristol is easily adaptable to the West Indian experience.

Akiko Kato, Japan (MSc International Development)

I have really developed new skills in thinking critically and offering my own opinion even if it differs from others. This is such a liberating feeling.

Maria Prilepa

Maria Prilepa, Russia (BSc Economics)

The system of education in Russia is very different from British system, there are a lot more opportunities to develop your skills and get more qualitative education here..

Heebon Park-Finch, South Korea (PhD Drama)

The University of Bristol’s Department of Drama is known as one of the most prestigious and best places to study drama theory and practice, which is why I applied for the PhD programme.
