The Senior User and Process Improvement Group for IT Services provides strategic and high level direction and support to ensure that the IT process delivers value for the University and to help make the IT process better by providing valuable insights and feedback on future needs and current practice.

Term of Reference
- To be the senior level consultative and advisory group for University IT services
- To have an institutional view of the strategic needs for delivery of IT services to meet the requirements of all members of the University and, in this regard, to represent the views of students and staff
- To provide a lead and advise on future gazing and to help identify opportunities for research and development to advance beneficial exploitation of information technologies in all areas of the University’s activities
- To be a consultative forum, commenting on proposals for strategic development of University IT Services
- To identify and advise on opportunities for income generation, consistent with the aims of the IT Strategy
- To review and approve service level agreements for provision of University IT services
- Through receipt of periodic reports, to monitor and review the delivery of IT services against agreed criteria
- To be a forum for feedback from users on expectations and experience relating to IT service provision
- To advise the Director of IT Services, as Process Owner, on proposals for process improvements and to consider relationships to cognate processes
- To review and provide advice on policy relating to IT
- To review risks and issues relating to IT service delivery
- To report to the Portfolio Executive
