Business Objects

What is it for?

  • Business Objects is a reporting tool.
  • Finance reports - you can view up to date account figures for your team/group/department (no training required - see the web page for help).

TOPdesk

What is it for?

TOPdesk is our service management software. We use mainly it as a ticketing system to log and resolve queries and requests (incidents) that come in to our helpdesk. It also has other uses.

How do I access it?

  • TOPdesk login page
  • Report incidents as a user by clicking on Use Self Service Desk (available to all staff)
  • Handle incidents as an operator by clicking on Operator Login.
  • To request operator access, email service-desk@bristol.ac.uk.
