If you've hardly used a computer before we may be able to spend an hour with you, to suggest a sequence of suitable courses and learning resources. Please contact the IT Service Desk (Computer Centre, Tyndall Ave, external telephone (0117) 928 7870, internal 87870, email service-desk@bristol.ac.uk) to discuss your needs; they will refer you onto a one-to-one session if appropriate.

If you can't make a taught course but have some knowledge of Windows (how to use a keyboard and a mouse and how to start programs and save your work) you can attend one of our regular bookable self-paced learning (SPL) sessions to work through course notes with a trainer available to help.
