Interruptions to internet access on Tuesday 6 December, 7-9am

An essential upgrade is required to the University firewall.  This will take place on Tuesday 6 December between 7am and 9am.

During this period there will be several interruptions to external network connections totaling around 15 minutes throughout the two hours.

During these breaks Internet connections for those on the University network, wireless or ResNet services will be unavailable. Access to University websites and network services will be unavailable to those outside the University. Most services will to continue to operate for those within the university.

IT Services apologises for the inconvenience this will cause.
