Recent issues affecting Single Sign On

Update 7 February, 11:00: We are still experiencing issues affecting Single Sign On.  We believe that problems are related to previous issues seen at the end of last week.  We are investigating the situation.

There have been some performance issues with Single Sign On this week. In an effort to maintain the service over the weekend changes will be implemented this afternoon (3 February).

These changes may negatively affect a small number of users who may need  multiple attempts to login to services.

The situation will be reviewed on Monday morning.
