Dott. Paola Celant

Paola Celant studied Modern Languages at the University of Udine (Italy). She obtained her Italian Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE equivalent) in the year 2000. In the same year she also took the Diploma in Translation of the Institute of Linguists.

She has taught Italian language at various levels in England and Wales: primary and secondary schools, undergraduates and adults continuing education. She has worked at Bristol University since 2002.

She has also worked as a freelance translator.

Areas of Responsibility

In her current position as Teaching Fellow, she is teaching Italian language at undergraduate level (Year 1, 2 and 4). She also teaches Applied Translation and Introduction to Specialised Translation as part of the MA in Translation Programme.
