University of Bristol Law Graduate, and Great Britain midfielder, Georgie Twigg capped her Olympic women's hockey debut with a bronze medal - only the second ever won by the women's hockey team, as Team GB secured a 3-1 win over New Zealand in the third-place play-off.

Georgie has been a mainstay in the Great Britain hockey squad since making her international debut in 2010.  She was part of the teams that won bronze at the World Cup two years ago and won silver at the Champions Trophy in February, with both events staged in Rosario, Argentina. She split her final year at the University of Bristol Law School in two so that she could train at the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey.
