Graduation day: Celebrating law student achievements

The University of Bristol Law School honoured the work of its outstanding students at yesterday's graduation ceremony.

Each year the Law School recognises those students who went above and beyond during their time studying at the University.  This year more students than ever before achieved a first-class degree, making for tough competition in achieving an award for excellence.  

Yesterday's graduation prize winners were:

  • Best student in IT Law: Catherine Burke
  • Best Performance Overall in the LLM: Reece Lewis
  • Joint Best Performance Overall in the Taught Masters Dissertation Reece Lewis: Christopher Gray, Kara Chadwick and Francesco Zanna
  • Best Performance Overall in the MSc: Louise Austin
  • Best Performance Overall in the MRes: Jacob Wellman
  • Best Performance in the Commercial Law LLM Pathway: Francesco Zanna
  • Best Performance in the European Legal Studies LLM Pathway: Miha Klement
  • Best Performance in the Human Rights Law LLM Pathway: Johanna Talecker
  • Best Performance in the International Commercial Law LLM Pathway: Alvaro Garcia Martinez
  • Best Performance in the International Law LLM Pathway: Reece Lewis
  • Best Performance in the Labour Law and Corporate Governance LLM Pathway: Daisuke Ikuta
  • Best Performance in the Public Law LLM Pathway: Elizabeth Willis
