Impact and influence
We are a community of leading academics, at the forefront of our research fields. Our work has a positive impact around the world because we are engaged with each other, the wider society, policy makers, national and international organisations and more. By working together we make change possible.
Our research contributes to our international reputation and informs our teaching. Our impact reports, showcasing our REF2014 submissions, illustrates the range and depth of this work and the associated impact on society, on a local, national and international level.
Working closely with PolicyBristol, we facilitate timely and strategic engagement of our research with policy processes so our research continues to have a significant influence on policy thinking and policy development.
Legal research blog
The Law School Blog is our collective public engagement platform, through which we aim to reach our wider audiences. The blog builds upon our research outcomes, makes them accessible, and provides evidence-led and reasoned arguments that inform, enrich and shape social and policy debates.
Expanding our reach
The aim of our research is to challenge current thoughts and ideals. Through hardwork, dedication, and commitment, we are able to inspire change on a global scale.
