Undergraduate Admissions Information

Each year the School of Law admits 145 home students and about 50 overseas students to its undergraduate degree programmes. Academic standards are high. Competition for places is intense: each year we receive a total of over 2,500 applications. We assess all applications on the basis of academic achievement and potential, placing particular emphasis on A levels (or their equivalents), GCSEs (or their equivalents), the National Admissions Test for Law (the LNAT), and the other information available from candidates’ application forms. We are committed to widening participation in higher education.
