Learning Facilities Management

Learning Facilities Management [LFM] is a team of technicians and space officers, situated within the Estates Office, Space and Asset Management. LFM manages all standard (non-specialist) teaching spaces across the University. Responsibilities of managing these spaces include:

• One point of contact for all fault reporting. (UoB access only)
• One process for the requesting of non-teaching room requests. (UoB access only)
• Provision of online guides and support (UoB access only) for teaching rooms.
• Design and development, as part of managing the refurbishment programmes, of teaching rooms.
• Continued Audio Visual training programmes.
• Technical help and advice for all other University spaces.
• Offering an efficient and responsive service for all standard teaching space related queries, as well as technical help and advice for all other University spaces.
