All final year undergraduate students are required to return all outstanding library loan items and pay all outstanding library charges by Friday, 22 June 2012.Students are asked to visit their branch library in person or use ‘My Library Account’ within the Library Catalogue to check their library account status. Please note that library staff are unable to provide account status information by email.
Bristol graduands can carry on having reading and reference access after the end of term and until 31 July 2012 by showing their UCard (it will stop working on access gates once you have graduated, mid-July). For reading and reference access beyond that date, a ‘Bristol Graduate Application Form’ (available from library staff) for reading and reference should be completed.
Bristol graduates who want to have borrowing privileges for a year (1 August 2012 – 31 July 2013) will need to complete the ‘Bristol Graduate Application Form’ for borrowing and supply the Library with a copy of their course pass confirmation if they haven’t graduated yet. There is a subscription fee for this; currently £60 per annum. This entitles you to borrow 20 books at a time.
Bristol students graduating this summer who have had an offer to study for a higher degree at the University of Bristol from October 2012 may carry on borrowing through the summer vacation as an ‘external user’ on payment of a one-off fee of £10. Please ask library staff for a ‘Bristol Graduate Application Form’ for summer borrowing and please supply the Library with a copy of your higher degree course offer letter.
In all cases, we may be able to use your existing student photo provided your record hasn’t been deleted yet.
Please note that the processing of completed forms may take up to one week.
