Reports

A report is a detailed account of a topic, often commissioned by a particular body. The largest collection of reports in the University Library is held in the Queen's Building Library. Other branches have small collections of report literature.

  • To locate a report in the Queen's Building Library collection, you should go there to use the Reports Index. The Library Catalogue does not have details of the reports in this collection.

  • The location and loan periods of reports depends on the branch library. If you find a report on the Library Catalogue you will be given an indication of the location and the loan period.

To search the literature for reports you could try searching the Internet or using the resources in the 'Material type--Reports' category on MetaLib (easily accessed via the Quick search > Articles & databases option of the Library home page). If you would like to see a report that is not held by the library you should consider using the Inter-Library Loan service.
