The Library has a Store in Brislington, which contains lesser-used books and journals.
When you find an item on the Library Catalogue or the Card Catalogue Online with a location mentioning Store, University Library members may use this online Store request form to request the item. If you follow the 'Store' link for an item on the Library Catalogue 'search results' page, the Online Store request form will normally open in a new window automatically; if you encounter any problems with this see the known problems page for the Library Catalogue.
Items requested will normally be available within 3-5 working days and can be collected from the branch library you specify on the form. An email will be sent to you when the item is ready for collection. You can return the item to any staffed branch.
If you do not hear from the collection branch within 5 working days, or have any queries about a store request you have made, please contact lib-store@bristol.ac.uk.
Any member of the public not currently a registered Library borrower or reader, who wishes to consult items from the Library stock, including the Store, should contact Library Membership Services in the first instance to arrange a visit (email lib-access@bristol.ac.uk or write to Membership Services, Arts and Social Sciences Library, Tyndall Avenue, Bristol, BS8 1TJ).
