Vacation loans and reading

**Please note that Graduate School of Education terms do not always coincide with University term dates**

Christmas and Easter vacation loans

Christmas and Easter vacation loans for taught postgraduates and undergraduates begin on the last but one Thursday of University term, and are due back on the Wednesday of the first week of the University Spring and Summer terms.

Summer vacation loans

Summer vacation loans to taught postgraduates and undergraduates begin on the last but one Thursday of University term and are due back on the Monday of the first teaching week of the University Autumn term (the date is stamped in the book).

Any standard loan book borrowed by a taught postgraduate on or after that day is loaned for the whole vacation unless the item is recalled by another user.

Recalled books must be returned promptly and fines will be charged on late returns.

Short Loan Collection (SLC) texts

SLC books and week loan books are not available for longer loan in any of the vacations.
