Support for learning and research technologies

The Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT) develops web technologies and applications for major University projects, including the Content Management System and interactive tools to support learning and research. ILRT also undertakes commissioned website development for external clients.

The ILRT hosts a videoconferencing service for the University, based at 8-10 Berkeley Square, and four national services for UK higher education:

• Technical Advisory Service for Images (TASI)
• Intute: Social Sciences
• Virtual Training Suite, with subject-based tutorials on getting the best from the Web for learning and research
• Economics Network of the Higher Education Academy.
