The Short Loan Collection contains items that are most heavily used.

Overdue notices are sent out to readers but this may not occur until substantial fines have been incurred.
Very overdue, lost or damaged books will be replaced at the reader's expense.
If you pay a fine by cheque, it should be made out to 'University of Bristol'. In the Arts and Social Sciences Library, Medical Library and Wills Library fines amounting to over £5 may be paid by a credit or debit card transaction.
