Our libraries
The University Library is comprised of ten libraries, situated in or near the relevant academic faculty or school. You are very welcome to use any of them. Opening hours for the libraries vary, and can be found on individual library web pages:
- Arts and Social Sciences Library (houses many headquarters staff and functions)
- Biological Sciences Library
- Chemistry Library (Worsley Chemical Library)
- Education Library
- Geographical Sciences Library
- Medical Library (including Dentistry)
- Physics Library (Maria Mercer Library)
- Queen's Building Library (Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science)
- Veterinary Sciences Library
- Wills Memorial Library (Earth Sciences and Law)

Other study spaces
There are many spaces for students to study around the University; visit our 'Where can I study?' web page for more information, or the IT Services Student Study Spaces website, which can help you locate a computer room or a wireless hotspot in a study space and find out more about its availability for your use.
