Tackling real world problems that have high economic, societal and environmental impacts. Research into supply chain management, sustainability and resilience, healthcare operations, big data analytics, social media research, and low carbon manufacturing.
Marketing and Consumption
Drawing on insights from across the social sciences and working with a range of stakeholders, we approach marketing as a core function of organisations and a critical academic discipline. Research explores the role of consumption in a changing world, confronting the social and policy challenges that it raises.
Work, Organisation and Public Policy
Our research covers power, identity, materiality and institutional and organisational change as well as different groups engaging with work organisations such as the professions, unions and other employee groups.
International Business Management and Strategy
Researching a range of problems including: changes in labour and employment, global commodity chains and transnational corporations, the rise of global managerialism, the financialisation of management, and the transformation of professions and global professional service firms.
