| Areas of expertise |
I am an expert in the area of women's work, covering employment but also domestic work. At a more general level, I am concerned with the analysis of gender, class and ethnicity. Recent research has included studies of ethnic minority women in trade unions, young adults' employment and work-life balance, Young Turks and Kurds, an evaluation of the Connexions programme, ethnicity and employment.
