| Areas of expertise | I provide academic editorial services to individuals, learned societies and publishers. I am Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal Weed Research, an editor for Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment and previous Editor of the Journal of Applied Ecology. I also conduct contract applied ecological research in agriculture and the environment, in support of agri-environment schemes, vegetation management and herbicide impacts. My work ranges from field experimentation, field survey and inventories of flora and fauna, to desk studies. My particular expertise is in ecology and vegetation management, hedges and field margins and the use and impacts of herbicides in the environment. |
