| Areas of expertise | My research investigates the compositional structure and evolution of Earth's reservoirs using radiogenic isotopes and trace elements. I am particularly interested in the formation and evolution of early continental crust, the development of chemical heterogeneities of the Earth's mantle, and the interaction of the mantle with continental and oceanic crust, and core. To address these questions I use newly-developed as well as specifically-tailored analytical methods involving a series of mass spectrometric devices (sector field ICPMS, multiple-collector ICPMS, TIMS), laser ablation systems, and chemical separation techniques. |
