| Areas of expertise |
I have considerable experience in investigating component failures which have been the subject of litigation. I have acted as an expert witness in both County Courts and the High Court, and have been appointed an officer of the Crown Court as an independent assessor to evaluate other expert witness evidence.
As well as being a Metallurgist (MIM), I am also a Mechanical Engineer (MIMechE). This combination of dual expertise gives me the advantage of being able to relate detailed metallurgical and materials evidence to the overall engineering context.
I am happy to discuss any potential investigation on a free preliminary consultation basis, and will advise if the problem lies within my areas of expertise.
