I received my PhD in 2007 from the University of Bristol, for research in the area of Network Visualisation, Control and Management. I have contributed to various research activities and projects, including the Software-based Systems (Integrity Analysis) workpackage of the Mobile VCE (Mobile Virtual Centre of Excellence in Personal and Mobile Communications), and PRO-NET (Production of Broadcast Content in an Object-Oriented IP-Based Network), where I designed and developed distributed (CORBA-based) components for the control and management of media streams in an IP-based production network.
I am currently a Research Assistant in Networked Energy Management at the University of Bristol's Centre for Communications Research, working on the simulation and performance optimisation of very large-scale distributed systems (multiple autonomous computing nodes that communicate through a computer network)
