Areas of expertise My research is primarily focused on paleoclimate and weathering processes using isotope geochemistry. Main research areas include the stable isotope fractionation of zinc and its use in paleoceanography as a tracer for the degree of trace metal limitations in past surface-ocean waters in the past and studying Quaternary paleo-sealevel changes and the driving mechanisms for glacial-interglacial climate changes using high-precision U-series dating of fossil corals. Furthermore, I study low-temperature weathering processes and rates with the U-series isotope systems.
