| Areas of expertise | I am an Honorary Professor of Health Services Research. Having published over 400 papers, I am an opinion leader in osteoarthritis and its treatment. I was Principal Investigator of a £4m MRC programme grant on joint replacement at the University of Bristol from 2000 to March 2009 and also led the “EUROHIP” cohort, a large pan-European study of total hip replacement that developed systems for predicting outcomes after total hip replacement. |
