· Palaeolithic Archaeology of the Almonda Karstic System (Torres Novas, Portugal)- The history of the incision of the underground river left a labyrinthine network of fossil galleries found at different elevations above the spring.
· The Middle Palaeolithic sequence of Cueva Antón (Mula, Murcia, Spain)- The remains of human use of the site consist of hearth features, stone tools and animal bones, and are contained in fine sands deposited by low-energy flooding of the shelter by the Mula River.
· Upper Palaeolithic rock shelters in the Rambla Perea (Mula, Murcia, Spain)- After two field seasons (2007-2008), the two adjacent rock shelters of Finca de Doña Martina and La Boja revealed stratified Solutreogravettian, Solutrean and Gravettian occupations containing abundant lithics, ornaments, structured features (hearths), and charcoal.
