My current research interests include critical digital literacies, issues of social justice in education, connections between learning in home and school cultures and how schools develop new practices of working with digital technologies.
Lyndsay has led research projects exploring children’s digital literacy practices in and out of school and the connections and discontinuities between digital practices in different contexts. She has also conducted research projects exploring social justice and digital inclusion, the role of digital technologies in learning in families, learning with web 2.0 technologies in formal & informal educational contexts, and participatory approaches to the design process.
Lyndsay also writes for the Digital Media and Learning Research Hub weblog.
