I specialise in the assessment, treatment and where appropriate bone marrow transplantation of generic and metabolic diseases affecting the blood system. This includes a wide range of diseases including mucopolysaccharidoses (Hurler syndrome, Marroteauq-Lmay syndrome), leukodystrophies (adrenoleukodystrophy, metachromatic leukodystrophy, globoid cell leukodystrophy), haemophagocytic disorders (haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis [HLH], familial erythrophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis [FEL], Chediak-Higashi syndrome), haemoglobinopathies (thalassaemia major), Fanconi anaemia and osteopetrosis.
