Biography

I joined the Graduate School of Education in October 2002. I am the Director of the MSc in Educational Research and I co-ordinate research methods courses on the Bristol and Hong Kong MEd programmes. I am also Deputy Director of Teaching, Learning and Assessment.

My most recent research projects include, a Higher Education Academy (HEA) study looking at the links between research and teaching in higher education. I am author of The Research Game in Academic Life, published in 2006 by SRHE/Open University Press and Academic Research and Researchers (2009), edited with Angela Brew and also published by SRHE/Open University Press.
