Areas of expertise I have led and been co-applicant in a wide range of projects and services at national and European levels, particularly exploring the use of ICT and digital scholarship in the social sciences and arts and humanities, research information management and sustainable ICT. I have reviewed ESRC, EU and JISC project proposals in these areas.

Nationally I am a member of the Board of Management of MIMAS (University of Manchester) and elected director of JISC Advance. I am a member of UCISA's Staff Development Group, the national Organisational Development in Higher Education network and hold a Visiting Senior Research Fellowship at King's Learning Institute, King's College London.

I am also seconded half-time to the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education as Director, Publications and Organisational Development and have published widely in the information management and organisational development fields.
