| Areas of expertise |
My area of expertise is the gendered culture of the armed forces, in particular masculinities. I have also carried out research on the links between military service and homelessness and the general question of what happens to people when they leave the armed forces. My current work is looking at the United Nations, peacekeepers and gendered relations in peace missions.
